Alec
Our philosophy is that everyone deserves our best effort.

Revolution Wood Works, was born from necessity.  In 2012 while working on a project in Ballantyne North Carolina, we were coming to a close on a master bathroom project. The tile work was completed, the new shower system was working wonderfully, and the new lighting was making the area look like something from a magazine. The only items left to install were the cabinetry, and countertops.
The cabinetry that our client had purchased was from a premium manufacturer, with premium upgrades, and at a premium price. The three cabinets were delivered to the house, unpacked and prepared for installation. During installation, we leveled the units and began to install the mounting screws.  As the screws began to tighten, the box started pulling apart.  The rear structure had to be
reassembled, and reinforced, in order to bear the weight of the marble countertops. Once installed and reinforced we spent 2 hours adjusting the draw, and door mechanisms, so that the unit looked presentable.
A door had to be reordered as the painted finish was showing signs of cracking, and one week later a crack appeared in the face frame of the draw section.  The manufacturer was contacted, however despite weeks calling, our client was unable to have the components replaced.

During an exit meeting with the client we discussed their project. Feedback, and suggestions, have always been an important part of our company, as we strive to make sure every expectation was met or exceeded, before we leave.  After going over the details, we found that the cabinetry was the only disappointment, and the fact that we had no control over one of the largest items of our project was unsettling. The fact that we received an A- grade despite the hard work, and attention to detail was devastating.

Over the past few years we have designed and developed our own brand of cabinets.  The deficiencies found in mass-produced units have been eliminated in our product, this includes all of the skimping of materials, cheapening of hardware, and corner cutting construction methods.
Our philosophy is that everyone deserves our best effort. The items we produce are, and will always be created, using premium materials, by hand, one at a time.

We had never intended to start a cabinet fabrication company, but being able to design and create exactly what our clients need, without sacrifice, or compromise, was then, and will always be our driving force.

James

James created Revolution in 2006. After working in the remodeling industry for several years, he decided that improvements could be made to an antiquated system.
A design to build concept was created, to eliminate the need for subcontractors, and provide clients with a seamless, one stop project source.  James's passion to maintain high quality, and reasonable prices, were the driving forces behind the creation of Revolution Wood Works.
